Stainless Steel Wire Fence parts
A stainless steel wire fence is ideal for enclosing a wide landscape or for protection on a farm.
The type of corner posts used on the wire fence depends on the material chosen. The fence is built like an old-fashioned fence without links and elaborate styles. The steel used is a strong metal that will endure for years, no matter the climate. The frame work of the wire fence is similar to the corner posts, but they tend to be about five or six feet tall, with a depth of about one to two feet. The wire is run across the frame work and around the corner posts by using a come-along device. The wire used for the fence is made from a sturdy stainless steel coiled within the come-along device. Various hand tools are needed when constructing a fence with wire.
A stainless steel wire fence can be constructed using metal or wooden corners. The concrete and earth security medium remains the same for metal and wooden posts respectively, as stated for the corner posts. In either case, the corner is longer than the frame posts, at about seven to eight feet tall. A wooden corner post is about seven inches in diameter, while metal corners are about three. The wire cutters are perhaps the most important, used to snip off wire at the end of the fence. The wire clamp is positioned at the edge of the come-along where the wire is being stretched. The entire frame work of the fence will end up having four or five lines of wire that make up the majority of the fence.
