Assemble a Window Screen
Window screens are a great investment. However assembly can be quite tedious. Once you have completed the above step, trim the excess screen around the edges and the screen is ready to install.Using screens on your windows will allow your home to be more energy effecient.
Measure the screen area of the window to be covered.Cut the framing to the desired length and allow for the corners.Once the frame is cut, assemble the screen frame using the corner pieces.Lay the frame on a flat surface and hold in place with the groove side facing upward.Cut the screen material slightly larger than the frame and place over the frame.Use the spline tool to place the screen into the groove and place spline material in to hold the screen. Stretch and hold screen tight as the spline is inserted all around the edge of the screen.
